Who writes them
Arthur Jacobs is a long-time writer and director of client work. Arthur writes and edits TASKUL Guides.
How the guides are written
- Tax, GST, super and legal points are based on guidance from Australian government sources, such as the ATO, Fair Work and business.gov.au. The main sources are linked in each guide.
- Each guide shows the date it was last updated.
- Worked examples describe illustrative projects, not TASKUL customer work.
- The guides are general information, not legal, tax or financial advice. For your own situation, speak to a registered tax agent or a lawyer.
Where TASKUL comes in
The guides are published by TASKUL, a task manager for freelancers and creatives. Where a guide describes a step TASKUL can do for you, it says so at that point. Every method in the guides also works without TASKUL, with the free files or a spreadsheet.
Who publishes them
TASKUL and TASKUL Guides are operated by Free Company Inc., Japan.
Corrections
If you find an error or an out-of-date rule, email info@free-company.co.jp with the page address. When a guide is corrected, its updated date changes.
